Clarendon Lawyers is delighted to have advised Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) on its recent acquisition of Aquenta Consulting, a leading provider of integrated project services to public and private sector clients in Australia. Jacobs is one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of full-spectrum technical, professional and construction services for industrial, commercial and government organisations globally. The acquisition of Aquenta, which helps owners, operators and investors in infrastructure and property assets achieve their objectives at a strategic, portfolio, program and project level, will bolster Jacobs’ Asia-Pacific buildings and infrastructure business. The 220-person Aquenta business was acquired from Amec Foster Wheeler, which has owned Aquenta (formerly known as Currie & Brown) since 2010.
